“All professionals need excellent resources,” says Photographer Ellen Fisch. Recently, Fisch has become a sponsor of Printleaf printing company for all of her printing needs. “The high standards that I require for business cards, brochures and other printed materials for my photography business are met by Printleaf in a courteous and knowledgeable way,” remarks Fisch.
A short time ago, Photographer Ellen Fisch found herself short of business cards. A trade show in NYC’s Jacob Javits Convention Center was coming up and she needed a quality card on good stock. Typically, Fisch likes to have a printed image of her architectural art photography on her business cards. “One photograph is worth a thousand words,” says the well-known artist photographer. “My photographs are in Black and White and sepia. It is imperative that the photograph I select for my printed materials is crisp, well placed, and true Black and White or sepia.” Fisch notes that many printers print off-black or “cast” blacks and sepias. This means that the black will appear with a cyan or magenta cast as will the sepia tone.
“When I initially contacted Printleaf, I immediately was pleased by the knowledgeable way my concerns were addressed,” says Ellen Fisch. She went on to say that the telephone business staff is very attentive to client needs and very aware of current trends in the printing industry. “Additionally, Printleaf’s web site is easy to navigate and filled with wonderful choices of custom printed materials any person in business would need to promote a business.” Fisch comments that often, artists and photographers are not thought of as business people. “Like everyone else, we need to promote our art so that we attract and retain clients,” responds Ellen Fisch. The Printleaf “design on line” option featuring more than 2,000 beautiful free designs for business cards for all types of businesses is extremely popular. Fisch has encouraged a number of associates who are looking for a stunning business card design to use this excellent feature on the Printleaf site.
The Printleaf web site encourages on-line ordering that is easy and effective. Photographer Ellen Fisch placed an order for 5,000 business cards on 16 point matte stock. The Black and White image of Fisch’s famous “Checkered Staircase” was perfectly centered on the card and the black portion of the Black and White photograph was a true velvety black. “I was delighted with Printleaf’s personal service and beautiful product,” says Fisch. “Furthermore, the cards arrived quickly and well-packed to prevent bent or creased cards.”
A week after receiving her Printleaf business cards, Photographer Ellen Fisch attended the New York Business Expo and Conference where numerous savvy and established business people admired her business cards. She was glad to pass along Printleaf’s information as well as her own to her NYC peers. “Exchange of information is what trade shows are all about and I am always happy to promote businesses that help me succeed in my architectural art photography,” says Fisch.
