The idea is to create a completely sensory experience of gourmet chocolate tasting through the principles of intentional living
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 25, 2012
Intentional Chocolate is partnering with the Chocolate Invitational by sponsoring its Fall Festival, which will be held at the Great Spirits Ranch in Malibu on Saturday, November 17, 2012. The festival will begin with the intimate setting of the ranch and will include tastings of new flavors of gourmet chocolate as well as food and beverage tastings. Throughout the day there will be live musical performances, tea ceremonies, live painting, photography, art, truffle making classes and Intentional Living chocolate meditations.
The Chocolate Invitational is the brainchild of Mikki Sage and Ashley Walsh, daughter of Intentional Chocolate's founder, Jim Walsh, and Director of Operations at the company. The idea is to create a completely sensory experience of gourmet chocolate tasting through the principles of intentional living, starting with an intimate gathering place and providing instruction on focused chocolate tasting through meditation. The first Chocolate Invitational was held in Venice in June 2012.
Participants of the festival will enter a yurt where they will be guided through one of four different chocolate-tasting meditations. The meditations will promote a higher level of consciousness to help people become more aware of the aromas, textures and flavors of the gourmet chocolate. The intentional focusing and removal of distractions allows the participant the full chocolate experience. The complete focus on the chocolate as it melts in the mouth must be experienced in order to be understood. Focused chocolate meditation is designed to increase the awareness of the chocolate as well as to impart calmness and reduce stress and fatigue as a person learns more about building an intentional lifestyle.
"Intentional Chocolate is designed not only to allow people to enjoy the unique pleasures of chocolate, but to restore their energy and improve their health through intentional living," stated Jim Walsh, Creator and Founder of Intentional Chocolate. "Intentional Chocolate tastes good and makes one feel good at the same time."
