Arrowhead Stadium has installed a robust Distributed Antenna System (DAS), which accommodates sharp increases in wireless signal - but thanks to STEALTH's concealment, you won't know it's there.

More than 76,000 football fans can gather for a game at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs. And thanks to a team of tech professionals that included STEALTH®, those fans can now text, Tweet, Facebook and talk to their hearts’ content.

That’s because the stadium has installed a robust Distributed Antenna System (DAS), which accommodates sharp increases in wireless signal. Fans won’t suspect it’s there, thanks to Charleston, SC-based STEALTH, which concealed the DAS systems installed by system integrator Commscope. Mobilitie was the general contractor on the entire project.

STEALTH is a leader in RF-transparent concealment structures. Their work allows clients to install wireless systems without negatively impacting aesthetics of a building, a landscape or a municipality. Arrowhead’s DAS system is concealed at its vomitory entrances. Among the unique challenges of the project: matching the Chiefs’ team colors and replicating the logo in a 3-dimensional style.

Challenging custom jobs are not new to the company, which invented wireless concealment 20 years ago. STEALTH’s artists are masters at verisimilitude, and have created convincing silos, water towers, antique edifices and more.

STEALTH® Concealment Solutions was founded in 1992, and was the first U.S. company to engineer and construct antenna concealments for the wireless industry. The company has full manufacturing capabilities as well as a nationwide sales network. From church towers and flagpoles to cacti and trees, STEALTH has experience making every type of concealment and excels at finding solutions for difficult sites. The company’s proprietary StealthSkin™ technology allows signals to pass through the concealment with minimal loss. Today, STEALTH® spearheads more than 750 concealment projects nationwide per year for all wireless carriers.

STEALTH has been honored by the Charleston Metro Chamber and the Tower Technology Summit. The company’s work has been featured in RCR Wireless, TIME Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, CBS and on Their Fairfield CT Windmill was recently named Site of the Month by the editors of AGL magazine.
