MailChimp today announced its integration with CloudWork, a service that allows individuals and organizations to connect their business and social media apps with each other. CloudWork makes it simple for a user to share data between their various cloud applications. And with this integration, MailChimp users can more easily share or add subscriber information and notifications with other services such as Evernote, Zendesk, Freshbooks and many CRM apps.
Cloud apps are central to the way many organizations operate with 40% of small businesses relying on at least one cloud-based application, and 15% using more than five apps. To get started, a user signs up for their free CloudWork account, and then authorizes their various accounts. They then set up what data they'd like shared between which services.
