DairyBits, which provides easy access to a wide range of cost-effective replacement parts for dairy and ice cream equipment, has today announced that is turning back the hands of time as it aims to further streamline processes, by moving away from its current e-commerce model of business and encouraging its clients to order parts by telephone; allowing its experienced staff locate, and dispatch, the item for them.

Dairy machine parts come in many shapes and sizes and finding the exact part required can become a confusing affair, especially when the part number isn't known. However, the entirety of the DairyBits team is fully trained and wholly knowledgeable in the dairy machine field and with a little information, will be able to determine the exact part which is required.

Charles Lewis of DairyBits, commented: “Just because our clients work in the ice cream industry it doesn't mean that they’re all experts on the internal workings of their machines. As such, that’s why we’ve decided to move away from the current e-commerce model we have in place and concentrate of the, what some may perceive, ‘old-fashioned’. If they’re (site visitors) not completely sure of the part they require, all they need to do is pick up the phone, describe the part required and its location within the machine, and then let us take over. It’s quick, simple and the correct part is guaranteed every time.

“Indeed, there are many variations of what on the outside appear to be the same part, butterfly valves being a primary example, but are in fact very different items. The difference is usually size related but if it doesn't fit the machine remains ‘out of order’ until the correct part is ordered and fitted. To avoid this situation, for anyone not sure of the part required, we’re encouraging them to pick up the phone and we’ll have them back up and running sooner rather than later.”

DairyBits allows manufacturers to search 1,000’s of dairy machine parts via various categories and sub-categories such as electrical, mechanical and liquid, the part required or the machine in question.
