Conde Nast Traveler and TripAdvisor ® are among the organizations that have recently recognized Hotel Andaluz, a historic, AAA Four Diamond, LEED-gold certified boutique hotel in downtown Albuquerque.

The coveted “Reader’s Choice Award” by Conde Nast Traveler recognizes the Best Hotels & Resorts in the World. A record 46,476 readers voted on the 2012 awards. Hotel Andaluz was named one of the Top 25 Hotels in the Southwest. A full list of winners can be viewed here.

“Our team is thrilled to receive this recognition from such sophisticated and well-traveled readers,” said Howard Jacobs, General Manager of the Hotel Andaluz. “We are so thankful that our guests took the time to share their experiences with Conde Nast Traveler and are honored to be named among the world’s best hotels.”

The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is awarded by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, and honors hospitality excellence. This recognition was given to the Hotel Andaluz for consistently achieving outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor. Only ten percent of all accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this award.

"This was an amazing find! Beautifully redone... green, comfortable, everything you could possibly think of to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. The lobby sitting area is magnificent and the restaurant graciously served us after a late arrival. Staff was excellent and went out of their way to be friendly."

"Andaluz is a luxurious escape in the heart of downtown Albuquerque. Ultimate comfort near bustling nightlife, great shopping, and wonderful restaurants. I don't ever want to stay anywhere else in this city!"

Additionally, the Hotel Andaluz’ restaurants were recently recognized by Alibi magazine with two Best of Burque Awards. Lucia won the Best Downtown Restaurant Award and Ibiza rooftop lounge took the second place honor for Best Appetizers.
