Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 25, 2012
Hussian School of Art and Harrisburg University of Science and Technology are joining forces to offer 4 new degree programs. The new programs offer students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems or New Media Design & Production, or a Master of Science in Learning Technologies.
The partnership fuses Hussian’s expertise in commercial art with Harrisburg University’s expertise in technology to prepare Hussian students and alumni for careers in game creation, marketing, instructional design and visual communication.
“This is an excellent opportunity for our students to continue their education. We are exceedingly proud that Harrisburg University recognizes the quality of talent generated from Hussian School of Art. Both institutions and cities will benefit from the convergence of Hussian's creative talent and Harrisburg University's impressive command of new media technology,” says Melissa Morgan, President of Hussian School of Art.
“This agreement brings Harrisburg University to Philadelphia and it is a natural fit for both institutions,” says Dr. Eric Darr, Interim President of Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
Information about the courses will be available at a November 10th Open House at the Hussian School of Art. Harrisburg University faculty will be in attendance.
