One of the best ways to stand out is through after-school and summer programs, be they internships or school clubs.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 29, 2012
C2 Education, the nation’s fastest growing network of education support centers, is hosting a new live webinar as part of an ongoing informational series. The newest college admissions webinar will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 8 PM Eastern time.
Past C2 webinars have met with great success, both in terms of audience participation and in audience feedback. In fact, one youthful participant wrote, “The webinar was worth cutting short hanging out with my friends” – high praise indeed from the teenaged crowd.
November’s webinar, titled “Beyond the Books”, will focus on the less tangible aspects of college admission, including internships, community service, and extracurricular activities. The new webinar will be hosted by Benjamin Yun, a long-time C2 Education representative. Mr. Yun is currently the Head Instructor and Regional Trainer for all of C2’s Texas, New Jersey, and New York locations. In his time with C2 Education, Mr. Yun has trained hundreds of C2 instructors, hosted dozens of education seminars and workshops across the country, and helped countless students earn admission at some of the nation’s most prestigious colleges and universities.
“Especially at the more selective colleges, which often have tens of thousands of applicants each year, students too often blend together as a series of numbers,” says Mr. Yun. “The trick at these schools is to stand out of the crowd, which is something that a lot of students find very difficult. One of the best ways to stand out is through after-school and summer programs, be they internships or school clubs. This is a part of college admissions that few students fully understand, so we feel that it’s important to help guide students in the right direction when it comes to their extracurricular pursuits.”
The webinar is free to attend, but registration is required as spaces fill up quickly. To show their appreciation, C2 Education will offer all attendees $200 of C2 services. For more information or to register, visit C2 Education online or call (888) 807 – 1355.
