Due to overwhelming demand, Crystal Travel is expanding their presentation office in the Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village area to accommodate more and more visitors to their presentation center.
According to sources at the corporate offices of Crystal Travel, and due to the precarious nature of the economy, people are very interested in being able to travel at a fraction of the cost. By expanding the offices, Crystal Travel will offer more tour times throughout the day and offer various days in which one could attend a presentation.
According to marketing director at Crystal Travel, James Thorn, "What usually happens is a new member signs up, and gives our sales team a list of names and addresses of referrals of friends that they feel might be interested in joining our program. For every person that buys, Crystal Travel offers them a referral fee of $299.
Once a client comes in, they see the presentation, and usually if they like to travel, they become members and receive discounts on all their travel. It's a really easy concept and because we couldn't handle the demand, we had to expand."
Crystal Travel is a private members only travel agent that offers travel at cost to their members, but members must join the club which requires an initial membership fee and annual dues.
