MedSys Group Consulting was awarded a 15-month contract by the Knight Diagnostic Laboratories at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Under the contract, MedSys is currently leading a team of healthcare IT specialists in scoping, designing and developing a custom laboratory information system with interfaces to the OHSU hospital IT systems.

The Laboratory Information Systems project is a major technological advancement for the Knight Diagnostics Laboratories, The system has been designed to support complex workflows for all the technologies used in the laboratories, interface to the OHSU hospital system, and provide web access for outreach clients to order and receive test results.
