Orange, CA (PRWEB) October 24, 2012
Sullivan Solar Power, a leading Southern California renewable energy company, announces that its popular Orange Solar Program will expire on November 5. Exclusive to Orange and Villa Park homeowners and businesses, the program allows eligible participants to go solar for no upfront cost and receive substantial cash-back awards in addition to state and federal incentives for their involvement.
At the end of September, the program completed its first phase of funding, with 50,000 watts of solar committed to be installed, guaranteeing all participants up to $2,000 cash back. Most program participants are installation a solar power system around 6,000-watts of solar capacity, and will see their monthly electric bill reduce from $226 to $165 on average. With just under a month left in the program, Orange residents are still able to receive cash-back incentives in addition to monthly savings.
“Our firm championed the program to inspire residents to declare energy independence and make a longstanding impact on the community by reducing our carbon footprint," said Daniel Sullivan, founder and president of the firm, “We have a vision of transitioning Orange into a strong solar community and offering incentives to do so.”
The Wharton Residence recently signed up with the Orange Solar Program to lock in their increasing electricity costs and declare energy independence. “Edison will be changing energy costs every year, forever,” said program participant Richard Wharton, “I like the constant energy costs solar provides.”
The Orange Solar Program is modeled similarly to the state program whereby early adopters receive the highest incentives. The program is structured in three phases, and as milestones are reached, incentive amounts will drop. Orange residents must sign up for a solar power system by November 5, 2012 to receive the program incentives. For more information, visit http://www.OrangeSolarProgram.org or call 1-800-SULLIVAN.
