Kirkland, Wash (PRWEB) October 25, 2012
UIEvolution, Inc., a global leader in connected services for mobile, tablet, TV, hospitality and automotive applications, announced today that Ted Woodbery, Chief Product Officer, will be speaking at the 2012 Seattle Interactive Conference (SIC), a two-day event celebrating the convergence of online technology, creativity and emerging trends.
Featured on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 1:10pm, Woodbery’s presentation, titled “Understanding UX Design for Connected Devices” will address best practices and design elements for multi-screens, including mobile, tablets, televisions and automobiles.
"Designing and developing for mobile without a true understanding of design and build of multiscreen ecosystems can lead to all sorts of problems including poor usability, clumsy interactions, high latency and missed opportunities,” said Ted Woodbery, CPO of UIEvolution. “UIEvolution truly understands that regardless of the technology, it is important to design for the end user - people. And it is important to understand key elements like motivation, behavior, emotion and creativity.”
Ensuring that every single user, regardless of device or screen size, gets an optimized user experience is becoming increasingly valuable in a world where consumers are making decisions about brands and products within the first few seconds of interaction. While technology provides us with increased numbers of connected smartphones, tablets, televisions and cars, people still expect the same user experience no matter what screen they are on. Attendees will learn about what the paths to UX/UI success entail, what works, what does not and more.
SIC is being held October 29-30, 2012 at the Convention Center in Seattle, WA. The conference will bring together entrepreneurs, developers and business professionals for a powerful combination of in-depth presentations, networking opportunities and social events. UIEvolution is sponsoring the SIC Photo Booth on Monday, October 29, from 5pm – 10pm.
