The Annual Charity Golf Day, held at Rochford Hundred Golf Club was attended by 92 golfers. As headline sponsors of the event, representatives from SEO Positive were joined by a variety of other local businesses in demonstrating their support for the day. The principle charity to benefit from this record-breaking figure, as announced by the Rotary Club’s President, Ron Read, is PARC Essex, an organisation close to the hearts of the online marketing agency.
Helping over 250 families with additional needs, PARC provides short breaks, `stay and play` activities and holiday sessions for children and young adults of all ages. Based in Great Notley, the charity employs a number of fully trained and experienced staff who offer advice and support for parents and carers.
Accompanied by Ron Read, Managing Director at SEO Positive, Ben Austin visited PARC’s charity base in Great Notley Country Park to present a cheque to Fund Raising Manager, Dawn Simmons and her Deputy, Kerry Treloar. The £3,000 is to be used to contribute towards their range of Sensory Play Equipment.
Ben Austin explains his delight at the figure raised from the golfing day.
“We’re really pleased to see such a significant amount of money raised by the Rotary Club’s golfing day. PARC offer a really valuable service and the money raised from this event is being put towards a really worthwhile venture. I look forward to working with them in the future”, explains Ben.
