Thursday 24th October saw the launch of sales training experts Pareto Law’s exclusive Sales Society at the Tower of London Double Tree Hilton. Bringing together an exclusive selection of valued clients alongside industry leaders and experts from across the sales marketplace, the 2.5 hour event was led by Pareto Sales Director Mark Lendon and supported by speakers Marc Philippo, Head of Inside Sales at Temenos, and Andy Eustace, Account Executive at LinkedIn. Sales Director Bryn Thompson of Pareto also presented at the event.
“Our extensive experience as a market-leading organisation within the sales training and sales recruitment arena has identified a real need for the sharing of ideas and experiences at executive level. In a challenging economic environment, it is vital that we learn from the successes and challenges faced by others in the market if we are to truly move forward. That’s what the Sales Society seeks to do.” explains Pareto Sales Director Bryn Thompson.
“We were extremely pleased with the great turnout and the fantastic discussion and ideas generated by all who attended The Sales Leadership Forum. It was clear all who attended were able to take away some excellent advice and enjoyed engaging with discussions around retention, accreditation, sales training, staff development, incentives and many more issues impacting the sales arena.”
Opening with an overview of the challenges facing business today, Mark Lendon introduced long-standing Pareto client Marc Philippo of Temenos, who brought with him 20 years of practical experience working in business development within the International Banking Sector. Marc presented on the impact of thought leadership and the importance of networking in order to drive sales success, and was followed by Andy Eustace of LinkedIn, who delivered his experience and insight on the future of social media and LinkedIn with the B2B sales market.
With discussion and debate following the conclusion of each speaker, this highly interactive and dynamic event invited ample opportunity to explore the challenges facing sales development in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The event concluded with drinks and networking on the terrace, overlooking the spectacular sights of central London, giving all delegates an informal environment in which to further discuss and engage following the conclusion of events.
The Pareto Sales Society is an exclusive offering to clients of Pareto, and seeks to bring together the knowledge and experience of industry leaders to discuss, debate and deliberate issues impacting upon sales within the business marketplace.
