Since 1998, The Kraze's youth program has developed a solid reputation for not only teaching martial art techniques, but life lessons, academic achievement, social success and a healthy lifestyle. This premier fitness center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is pleased to announce the start of its back to school youth martial arts classes.
AMAA's Youth Martial Arts at The Kraze is especially unique because students train in a blended curriculum of multiple martial arts formats, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, which develop well-rounded skills that are also practical for personal protection. The classes are exclusively designed to enhance self esteem and build confidence. The Kraze also announces a September special for parents. With each youth enrollment, parents get a free fitness membership to The Kraze's onsite 24-hour Fitness Center.
"Dont just sit around while the kids exercise! Parents can work out at the fitness center while kids are training in class," said Derina Pyles of The Kraze. In addition to cardio and strength training equipment, the fitness center offers LA Kickboxing and Zumba, Kraze Cross Training classes, S.T.A.R Personal Training, Yoga classes and supervised childcare for children who are not in a martial arts program.
Additionally, The Kraze offer self defense classes for women, providing self defense techniques for situations that range from "one-on-one" to "multiple attackers with weapons." The center's former-Marine trainer and martial arts expert has worked with various law enforcement agencies instructing women's classes including a focus on rape avoidance.
