“We have made significant investments in technology to help our customers be informed packaging consumers,” says Marinac.”We are experts at what we do, but we wanted to take it a step further and take the ‘mystery’ out of packaging. Initially, we had some negative feedback from the industry suggesting we were ‘giving away’ information before customers even came in the door. Honestly, we saw the exact opposite, research showed customers would come in through the website and stay for a longer duration than the industry average. From there, nearly a third would eventually request a quote or free sample. We received so much feedback from customers who appreciated our transparency and our ‘no pressure’sales environment.”

One of those customers is Barnana from Wholesome Valley Foods. Barnana produces two premiere products, raw organic Chewy Banana Bites and organic Chewy Chocolate Banana Bites geared toward the triathlete, gluten free, kosher and organic markets. Both products are packaged with pouches manufactured and designed in partnership with SUP. Barnana is also one of the most recent SUP customers to land on the store shelves of Whole Food Market.
