People have ideas all the time, ambition is just the stubbornness to follow through.

Weirder Than Marshmallows showcases tales of stupidity and ignorance in the hopes of making people laugh. We want people to submit their stories about weird things and we will review, post and maybe even publish them in a book.
The stories on the site are divided into five categories. Do Not Stop on Tracks showcases warnings that should never have to be warned. Intelligent Life? lets people expose the blunders of their families and friends. En Masse contains stories of mass ignorance. Technology Sucks! explores the hazards of the technological age. That’s Just Freaky features Twilight Zone like tales of paranormality. Each section starts with two stories from Fogg’s life, to give visitors an idea of what we’re looking for. Further additions will come from submissions.
"We will not accept every story we receive. They must meet the Weirder Than Marshmallows standard. They have to be weird. They have to make us laugh or furrow our eyebrows. And they have to be true.” according to Deborah Carney, the owner of the website.
All the stories on the site are true. That’s what makes the concept attention grabbing. Anybody can make up strange stories, writers do it all the time. That’s why people love Stephen King, his stories are downright weird. But these are real, they actually happened, to relatively normal human beings. There’s no fiction on the site.
About Weirder Than Marshmallows
The site concept and the first book from the site were developed by Daniel Fogg, a writer with a satirical sense of humor. When Dan passed away in a car accident 10 years ago the site was taken over by his mother, Deborah Carney, who has brought the site to it’s original purpose. Weirder Than Marshmallows exists to make people stop and think about the things that make them shake their head and say "That was just weird".
