Gdansk, Poland (PRWEB UK) 26 October 2012
After the success of the first Weekend, 100 aficionados of new technologies will meet again on 9-11 November in Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia, Poland. The participants will work in groups that will have 54 hours to create and present a concept for a startup. The main idea behind the event is to get specialists in different fields, such as programming, marketing and design, to work together on a project. After two intensive days, the teams present their ideas to the judges, who then will give them valuable feedback and choose the winner of Startup Weekend Trojmiasto.
Startup Weekend Trojmiasto is not only a meeting for specialists in different fields. The participants’ cooperation results in innovative startups that continue to thrive online even after the event has ended. It is also a chance to meet potential investors and win numerous awards, such as a trip to Malta for Startup Demo Day 2013, live interview on a national TV station or free online payments from PayLane.
The participants of the 2nd edition will be coached by some of the best entrepreneurs and experts in IT and marketing in Poland, such as Karol Zielinski of PayLane, Marcin Treder of UXPin, Tomasz Woroniecki of Solwit or Tomasz Krupa of Fido Intelligence.
Registration for Startup Weekend is opened to everyone till November 8 at Eventbrite.
