"I believe life begins at conception and that every life is precious and therefore we must affirm life through love, truth and action," says Bill Gaylor the only pro-life candidate running to become Florida's next U.S. Senator. "I was honored to attend this event," adds Gaylor, "At the end of the day, when faced with a crisis pregnancy, a choice has to be made. That choice impacts not just the mother but perhaps the father, often times the soon to be grandparents and most importantly the child. Personally, I choose to believe in life. As a moral society we must defend the weakest and most helpless among us, especially when they cannot speak for themselves. Through charitable organizations such as Pregnancy Resources we are able to embrace the mother with love and provide a strong and positive support mechanism to encourage hope for a brighter future for her and her child. She needs to know she is not alone. "
Pregnancy Resources is an all volunteer organization that hosted the fundraising event this past Thursday. Their crisis pregnancy center offers free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting and child-birthing classes, Meals For Moms, counseling and many more services. Pregnancy Resources claims that through the compassionate counseling and education they lend to pregnant woman, in 2011, 99% of all abortion-bound women who came through their doors chose life, instead of abortion.
Gaylor was the first candidate to qualify as a No Party Affiliate for the U.S. Senate race. "People need to know they have a choice this November 6th," says Gaylor, "It's no longer about Republicans, Democrats, liberals, conservatives or whatever other label we may think is important to attach to ourselves. We must pledge our oath not to a political party or ideology, but to Restoring Our Republic, Our Constitution, Our Bill of Rights and the Rule of Law."
