UK Healthcare is a leading provider of personal and corporate health cash plans, which offer affordable healthcare insurance to people of all ages; allowing them to claim back the money spent on a wide range of medical services, including dental and optical work, hospital stays, health screenings, prescriptions and much more. (Up to agreed policy limits).
But this ‘not for profit’ organisation is also committed to continuing its history of significant charitable donations and fund raising activity in support of many terrific causes.
UK Healthcare has a long tradition of supporting causes for the benefit of the greater community, whether by donating money or raising it on their behalf.
In 2011, UK Healthcare donated more than £50,000 to a wide range of worthwhile health related charity organisations. The charities which benefitted included Bolton Hospice, Boot Out Breast Cancer, Ear4Kidz, Marie Curie Cancer Care and many more.
Their work continues and already this year they have donated significant amounts to Bolton Hospital, One Step and Beechwood Cancer Care.
As well as making such regular donations from its trading activities, UK Healthcare also host The Hospital Saturday Cup Final at Bolton Wanderers Reebok Stadium, one of the North West’s most prestigious amateur football events. Teams compete from across the area, with all monies raised being donated to a selected worthwhile cause. During 2012 the recipient was Bolton Hospice.
A variety of charity patrons who successfully request support throughout the year are then invited to UK Healthcare’s annual charity presentation lunch to receive donations on behalf of their organisation.
