The National Society of Leadership and Success today announced that Hill Harper, who plays Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on the hit CBS drama CSI: NY, is participating in a broadcast event sponsored by Chapman University’s chapter of the Society. The event, entitled “The Wealth Cure: Putting Money In Its Place,” will be on October 30, 2012 and will be web streamed live from Chapman University.
In his presentation, Harper will share principles from his recent book The Wealth Cure: Putting Money In Its Place, which was written to help young people change the way they view money so they can utilize it as a tool to find bliss. He will teach attendees how to live a truly wealthy life. He will discuss how to lay a sound financial foundation, increase the value of interactions in one’s life, use money as a tool to follow one’s passion and invest in one’s self.
This is the third event of the 2012-2013 multi-speaker series sponsored by the Society. The Society speaker series, which reaches more than 320 college campuses and 229,000 students each month during the academic year, is designed to support The National Society of Leadership and Success’s overall mission of building leaders who make a better world.
Harper is an accomplished film, television and stage actor, as well as author, scholar and community leader. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University and received graduate degrees in both law and public administration from Harvard University. Harper has written several books and started the foundation Manifest Your Destiny to assist underserved youth. He also owns several hotels and rental properties.
