Accel Networks Names Bryan Brooks as New Vice President of Operations & Engineering

Bryan Brooks has been named Vice President of Operations & Engineering and brings more than 24 years of telecommunications experience to Accel Networks.

Accel Networks announced today that Bryan Brooks has been named Vice President of Operations & Engineering reporting to Elaine Healy, Chief Operating Officer. Brooks brings more than 24 years of telecommunications experience to Accel Networks including expertise in designing, building, and maintaining complex data and voice networks as well as building best-in-class support organizations.

Brooks will have responsibility for engineering and operations for Accel, encompassing service delivery, product engineering, vendor management, and the company’s service monitoring and repair efforts.

Most recently, Brooks was the VP of Engineering and Operations for iCore Networks in McLean Virginia where he continued to build a track record of service quality and profitable growth management. “My deep background in every facet of the telecom industry and focus on growth is an excellent fit with Accel. The technology really intrigued me. I look forward to being part of such an innovative organization,” said Brooks.

Brooks has held several leadership and senior consulting positions during his career including VP and Director level roles with Cypress Communications in Atlanta GA, StarVox Communications, San Jose CA, KMC Telecom/Hypercube, Bedminster NJ, and MCI/UUNET, Ashburn VA.
