[Our] goal is to find and remove the interference to [the patients] healing potential and allow the body to regain its natural state of health.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 31, 2012
Belltown Spine & Wellness, one of Seattle's premier chiropractic and massage clinics, is pleased to introduce the newest member of their natural health practitioners’ team, Dr. Nolan Deatherage. Belltown Spine & Wellness' integrated health and wellness clinic offers customized care designed for the individual patient based on the Clinical Biomechanics of Posture® (CPB) system, the most recognized and researched spinal care program in the United States. This system utilizes a highly personalized combination of exercise, adjustment and postural traction to help patients achieve normal spinal alignment, thereby activating the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Nolan Deatherage, D.C., graduated in the top of his class at Life Chiropractic College West, one of the largest chiropractic colleges in the country. His approach to treating patients is rooted in the belief that the health of the spine and nervous system is crucial to overall well-being. As a specialist in muscles, joints, nerves and hormones, Dr. Deatherage utilizes a holistic approach to solving the underlying problems of illness instead of simply treating the symptoms.
His path to becoming a chiropractor indelibly shaped Dr. Deatherage’s philosophy. While studying pre-med at the University of Washington, Deatherage took a work-study position at Harborview Medical Center and "was shocked to see that most of the time people were not actually fixing what was causing their problems, but rather masking their symptoms with dangerous drugs or surgeries."
With an abiding passion for "help[ing] people express their inborn ability to be healthy," Deatherage was introduced to the importance of spinal alignment in achieving overall wellness. This quickly culminated in his switch to a pre-chiropractic program.
In the four years that Dr. Deatherage has been a licensed chiropractor in the State of Washington, he has helped to open three chiropractic offices and served hundreds of patients from the greater Seattle area.
“We are so happy to have him here,” says Dr. Scott Mindel, founder of Belltown Spine & Wellness. “[Our] goal is to find and remove the interference to [the patients] healing potential and allow the body to regain its natural state of health.”
