Through community voting, Dr. Genetipetz has combined the most popular features of different animals to create new creatures that could never exist in the wild. His new creations, also known as Genetipetz, have proven to be in high demand within the first week of their crowdfunding campaign.
The Genetipetz Kickstarter campaign was launched on October 24 and raised more than half of its funding goal just 24 hours later. The startup company is currently seeking funding in order to manufacture the stuffed animals.
“The Kickstarter community has been very supportive of our project, and we would like to show them our appreciation,” said Meade. “So, we have been discussing exciting, new stretch goals that we know will surprise our existing and future backers.”
Genetipetz offers an array of unique and exclusive rewards to all of its supporters on Kickstarter. Aside from the Genetipetz themselves, rewards range from newly-introduced gene-T-ipetz T-shirts to holiday gifts to the opportunity to create a new 2- or 3-animal Genetipetz.
