Florida Home Partnership, Inc. (FHP), a non-profit Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), is proud to announce the hiring of Nancy Harper and Gene Lansdale.
Ms. Harper has been hired as the Grant Accountant for the organization. In this position, she is responsible for accounts payable, bank account reconciliations, cash receipts and deposits, payroll processing, accounts receivable, project report. A graduate from the University of South Florida (BA – Accounting - 2001), Ms. Harper has worked 21 years in various accounting assignments for the City of Tampa. While working for the city, she successfully executed general accounting operations, managed grant accountability and provided audit functions for various city-wide departments.
Mr. Lansdale is FHP’s new Construction Superintendent for Alexander Woods Townhomes, FHP’s latest acquisition through Hillsborough County’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). He will oversee the $5 million dollar Plant City development which includes 80 townhomes (of which 14 two and three bedroom townhomes are currently completed and market-ready), clubhouse, swimming pool and playground. Mr. Lansdale brings a wealth of experience to help the nonprofit complete the project. A veteran of the United States Army and graduate from Berry College (BS, Industrial Technology – 1970), Mr. Lansdale has worked throughout the United States and internationally. He has worked for Rodda Construction, Inc., Henkleman Construction, Inc., Holland & Knight, LLP (as the manager of construction), Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, Davy McKee Engineering and Construction and Newport News Shipbuilding.
