Oxiem Named “Ohio Interactive Agency Of The Year, ”Wins Three Individual Award Categories

Oxiem, an interactively-inspired integrated marketing agency, was named “Ohio Interactive Agency of the Year” at the Ohio Interactive Awards on Thursday, Oct. 25. The agency also garnered three wins in individual categories for outstanding client work at the annual awards event.

“We’re extremely honored to have been named ‘Ohio Interactive Agency of the year,’” said Oxiem Co-Founder and Brand/Strategy Director John Fimiani. “It’s a tribute to the great work being done by our team and would not be possible without tremendous companies and organizations we’re privileged to have as clients.”

Oxiem rounded out its winnings by accepting the Ohio Interactive Award for best Brand Response Campaign for Twenty First Century Communications’ AlertFirst Product Launch. AlertFirst is a mass notification system for organizations. Oxiem won because the AlertFirst campaign demonstrated the most innovative and effective use of digital and interactive channels to build brand awareness.

Oxiem accepted an Ohio Interactive Award (Educational Institution Category) for the Urbana University website. The student-themed design, infused with elements reminiscent of the school’s Blue Knight colors and mascot conveys school spirit throughout the site, while maintaining a user-friendly interface.

In the Video and Rich Media Category, Oxiem won the Ohio Interactive Award for the Shopsmith, Mark 7 Interactive Product Demonstration Video Widget. Shopsmith is a U.S. based manufacturer of woodworking tools used by millions of home craftsmen. Oxiem created the demonstration center to highlight the Mark 7’s unique ability to easily transform into seven different woodworking tools.
