Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) October 29, 2012
ASU SkySong will host the 6th annual Social Media Arizona (SMAZ) conference on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. SMAZ 6 – Digital Marketing for Business: Social, Mobile, Local will be a business-focused event designed to educate business owners and marketing professionals on understanding and using the latest social media and digital marketing platforms for increased success. Attendees will engage with leading industry experts and successful corporate executives in discussions on the latest social media trends and will learn how to use cutting edge technologies to reach and support their clients.
SMAZ 6 will also feature leading social media expert Jason Falls, author, speaker and founder of Social Media Explorer. Jason will provide insight on his no-hype methods of social media marketing. Sean McLaughlin, anchor for CBS 5 in Phoenix will emcee SMAZ 6.
The presenters joining Falls at this year’s SMAZ event include Joseph Manna, Online Community Manager and resident social media expert for Phoenix-based software success Infusionsoft and Rhiannon Rawling, Senior Performance Manager at Yodel and Owner of Serenity Consulting. Broadcast Industry expert and consultant in traditional and new media sales Margie Albert will moderate a media panel that will discuss “How Traditional Media Has Incorporated Social Media into its Strategic Growth Plans”, featuring Patrick O’Grady from the Phoenix Business Journal and Ruth Carter from Carter Law Firm who will share how to protect your rights in your online content.
“Our attendees have heard about what tools and sites are available to use during past SMAZ conferences,” said Fred von Graf, organizer of the SMAZ conference. “At this point, we felt that real world examples of how to apply this knowledge to increase web traffic, page views, eCommerce, social media monitoring techniques, and ultimately the bottom line would be most valuable to our attendees. SMAZ 6 will focus on that practical application.”
SMAZ 6 is open to the public, but less than 80 tickets remain. Entrepreneurs, corporate executives, startups and social media gurus do not want to miss this incredibly valuable day of learning from, and engaging with, industry experts. Tickets are available at http://smaz6.eventbrite.com/. ASU SkySong is providing a 30% discount to those who register to attend by Wednesday, October 31st. Use code ASU30 when purchasing your ticket.
