eTrigue® Corporation (http://www.etrigue.com), the ease-of-use leader in marketing automation Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), today announced the introduction of Dynamic Progressive Forms (DPF), a new easy-to-implement web-form building technology that incorporates logic to dramatically reduce form abandonment. Designed for eTrigue’s DemandCenter® marketing automation suite, DPF technology intelligently requests information from website visitors in a programmed sequence using both progressive and contextual logic. For the first time, it’s easy to quickly build logic-based forms through a drag-and-drop storyboard interface that allows you to ask website visitors questions based on their unique visit history, activity or demographic information.
“Typically, business-to-business websites achieve a 10–15% form-completion rate,” said Ian Michiels, principal analyst at Gleanster. “Increasing that rate is important because form-completion rates move hand-in-hand with revenue growth. Using progressive forms allows vendors to ask smarter questions and makes it easier to attract and hold interested prospects over time.”
On average, customers using Dynamic Progressive Forms experience double the form completions over their previous form implementations, and users cite an increase in the quality of data collected. Gathering bits of prospect information over time rather than all-at-once reduces the reluctance of prospects to complete forms to gain access to premium web site content. Geared primarily for business-to-business lead generation efforts, DPF significantly reduces form abandonment, delivers higher conversion rates, and better aligns marketing and sales efforts.
“Allowing companies to collect critical information in small increments over time, while simultaneously nurturing prospects leads to higher conversion rates and more qualified opportunities entering the pipeline,” says Michiels. “It’s is a win-win for marketing and sales.”
“Ease-of-use is the core of our strategy to bring more advanced marketing automation technologies to our customers,” said Jim Meyer, vice president and general manager of eTrigue. “The ability to build sophisticated form logic with the same straightforward, time-based graphical approach that’s in eTrigue’s campaign builder reduces the learning curve for customers and eliminates the need for custom coding.”
Contextual logic allows you to skip irrelevant questions and only present questions that are applicable to the individual prospect. Beyond preventing redundant questions, eTrigue DPF poses questions based upon known demographic data such as prospect role and responsibility. For example, IT prospects may be shown IT-related questions, while marketing prospects may see marketing-related questions. eTrigue DPF logic allows both contextual and progressive questions on an individual basis based on any data in the prospect database.
Control of DPF is dynamic, and, as with all eTrigue campaign building tools, it’s simple to change on-the-fly. Outbound and inbound form and site campaigns are easily managed via eTrigue DemandCenter’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Real-time control is a significant benefit to busy marketing professionals who often rework campaigns in mid-stream to take advantage of changing conditions, or to make changes and corrections quickly.
eTrigue DemandCenter Dynamic Progressive Forms are available now.
