“We count ourselves fortunate for the team, clients, and opportunities we’ve had in a relatively short amount of time,” says Mina Fies.
Reston, VA (PRWEB) October 31, 2012
Reston-based design/build firm Synergy Design & Construction, Inc. (dba Synergy D&C) celebrated its fourth year in business this previous month. The young firm, which provides residential and light commercial design services as well as build-out for all its projects, was incorporated on September 19th 2008, by founder and president Mina Fies and her husband Mark.
For the past three years, Synergy has seen steady growth in its business, and has almost doubled its revenue in the past year. “Given the Great Recession and related challenges in our industry, we feel we should be able to count each business year as a dog year,” jests Mark, the company’s Chief Operating Officer. “It feels as though we’ve successfully navigated our business for the last 28 years, not just four.” In the next year, the company hopes to grow its revenue by another 30% percent. “We count ourselves fortunate for the team, clients, and opportunities we’ve had in a relatively short amount of time,” concludes Mina Fies.
Due to careful financial planning and a string of large projects, Synergy D&C has added two new team members in the last few months. Tom Reineberg, a Project Manager hired in July, and Matt Offerman, a Lead Carpenter hired in September, have both been invaluable in positioning the firm to grow and take on more projects in the upcoming year, without losing the company’s signature organization and excellent customer service.
