Converseon, the leading social strategy and technology company, today announced that its award-winning ConveyAPI social listening intelligence technology is now available on industry specific basis. These verticals include automotive, pharmaceutical, hospitality, financial services, CPG and consumer/business technology.    

The announcement was made today at the Sentiment Analysis Symposium in San Francisco.

To enable this, Converseon has invested significant resources in building industry-specific training sets for a variety of business domains through its proprietary crowdsourced platform. By combining this proprietary training data with machine learning, ConveyAPI is able to combine the speed, processing capacity and scalability of data software with near human level the accuracy, understanding and analysis. Tests of ConveyAPI’s sentiment coding solution show the program approximated 90-95% of human performance.

ConveyAPI, which was launched publicly in June 2012, is the result of nearly three years of research and development by Converseon’s team of leading data scientists, including Dr. Philip Resnik of the University of Maryland, and Dr. Jason Baldridge, professor at University of Texas, Austin and Co-Founder of the OpenNLP project.
