Automation with intelligent data capture offers an immediate productivity boost in AP processing, provides for easy approvals and troubleshooting, and enables users to eliminate manual keying while focusing more resources on strategic, value-added work.
Shawnee, Kan. (PRWEB) October 31, 2012
Perceptive Software, creator of process and content management products and solutions, announces that Asbury Automotive Group, one of the largest automotive retailers in the U.S., has selected Perceptive Intelligent Capture, powered by Brainware, for the efficient automation of invoice processing at its Dealership Support Center outside of Atlanta. The solution, which will be delivered via a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, was chosen following an extensive evaluation of available automation solutions.
Asbury selected Perceptive based on a demonstration of the technology’s capabilities for high rates of field data extraction and touchless processing of purchase order-based invoices. While the initial implementation is limited to the Capture-enabled automation of accounts payable, opportunities are being explored for applying the technology to other document-based processes.
“A cloud-based delivery makes Perceptive’s document processing and retrieval platform more accessible and easier to implement than ever before,” said Carl Mergele, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Perceptive Capture (formerly Brainware). “Automation with intelligent data capture offers an immediate productivity boost in AP processing, provides for easy approvals and troubleshooting, and enables users to eliminate manual keying while focusing more resources on strategic, value-added work. We are proud to support Asbury Automotive Group as they continue to transform their document processing operations into a model of transparency, accuracy and efficiency.”
