Self-publishing is on the rise, but having a book deal is still relevant to gaining credibility as a writer and as an industry expert. With a 98% rejection rate, you need to know how to get a 'yes' from a publisher!"
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) October 31, 2012
Susan Baroncini-Moe, President of Business in Blue Jeans, a Midwest-based business and marketing consulting firm, announced today that she will be holding a live training on November 8 to teach writers how to get a book deal.
Baroncini-Moe, a Guinness World Records® titleholder, who herself just penned, "Business in Blue Jeans: How to Have a Successful Business on Your Own Terms, in Your Own Style," due out in May, 2013, will teach, “How to Become One of the Elite 2% of Authors Who Gets a Book Deal,” on November 8, 2012 via webcast.
“The publishing industry has changed and self-publishing is on the rise. But having a book deal with a “real” publisher is still extremely relevant to gaining credibility as a writer and as an industry expert,” said Baroncini-Moe, speaking from her home office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Baroncini-Moe went on to say, “But with a 98% rejection rate, it’s hard to get a book deal. Writers are turned down for many reasons, but for the most part, it’s bad writing, bad idea, or bad marketing plan,” problems that Baroncini-Moe says she can help with. “I’ve been working with publishers and authors for years. Most writers who want to get their books published literally have no idea what publishers are looking for. ”
In her training, Baroncini-Moe will be teaching writers how the publishing industry works, what publishers are looking for, and what writers really need to get a book deal, as well as a great deal more.
“If you want to get a book deal, you need to know what works. And I’m going to be sharing exactly what worked for me and what’s worked for my clients,” Baroncini-Moe said.
Authors who are looking to become industry experts and published authors are welcome to attend the free webcast training. Registration is located at http://TrainingWithSusan.com.
