More than 700,000 India visitors are expected to land in the United States in 2012. India Network is geared to assist visitors with health and accident insurance
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) October 31, 2012
India Network Services, administrator of visitor health insurance in the USA, announced today agreements with multiple car rental carriers including Hertz, Budget Rent a Car and Alamo Rent a Car and the introduction of the India Network Health Insurance Complimentary Drug Discount Card. These services are now available as a compliment to the visitor health insurance and doctor consultation services used by thousands of India Network Foundation members nationwide.
Dr. KV Rao, India Network Foundation founder commented, “We are pleased to offer additional benefits essential for the Indian traveler to the US through car rental discounts and importantly, a prescription discount card to help offset the medical expenses while staying with family for many months. The US Department of Commerce shows that 630,000 Indians visited the United States in 2011 and expected more than 700,000 in 2012. India Network will continue to expand its plan offerings and services to meet the evolving needs of our growing visitor base in near future.”
The India Network Foundation Prescription Discount Card offers a 100% co-pay discount and is available nationwide in chains such as Walgreens, Kroger, Publix, Wal-mart and Target Pharmacies. The Foundation offers a pharmacy helpline to help resolve member questions.
Hertz car rental discounts range from 20% off Hertz Business Travel rates to free rental day points and a one year annual Club Gold membership for frequent travelers. Budget Rent a Car offers low corporate rates and access to members-only discounts along with a complimentary Fastbreak membership that offers travelers the ability skip counter lines and paperwork. Alamo Rent a Car offers last minute specials, free upgrades, discounts off weekly rates and pre-paid discounts for car rentals.
The additional member discounts augment the travel health insurance commonly taken by parents having extended stays when visiting children. In addition to the basic fixed coverage or comprehensive plans taken by parents, pre existing condition coverage is frequently selected to cover pre existing concerns of senior family members including diabetes and heart conditions. Another important service offered to INF members is “Consult a Doctor” which provides phone based consultation with a Board Certificated physician with multiple language skills. This service is available for a nominal fee and is typically used for those parents needing prescriptions for pre existing conditions.
