The prestigious EPPY Awards – now in their 17th year – honor the best media websites around the world. Winning websites are chosen by Editor & Publisher magazine and a panel of 68 judges.
Boston.com’s Arts & Entertainment (A&E) section was honored as Best Entertainment Website with over 1 million visitors for the second year in a row. Boston.com also won Best Crowd Sourcing/Citizen Journalism in the 1 million unique monthly visitors and over category based on its coverage of the 2012 Boston Marathon. Finally, Boston Sports Live with Chris Gasper was awarded Best Webcast with 1 million unique monthly visitors and over.
