HGH Infrared Systems celebrated their 30th Year in Business last Tuesday evening in Washington DC. Hosted at Rogue 24, where Chef RJ Cooper has created a gastro-chic restaurant, HGH invited partners, clients and friends. Guests included fifty security professionals and esteemed military personnel HGH has had the privilege of working with over the years. President and CEO Thierry Campos flew in from France for the event where he greeted guests and spoke of HGH’s great successes over the years and the exciting developments to come. For thirty years, HGH has designed, developed, assembled and sold complete high-end optronics systems for security, industrial and civil applications. U.S. operations are run out of Cambridge, MA.

HGH has created the award-winning IR Revolution™ 360 camera, a 360 degree infrared camera acting as a high resolution “optical radar”, with automatic and real time detection of simultaneous and unlimited targets within the panoramic image. There are currently eighty of these systems fielded over the world. HGH has won contracts with NAVAIR (U.S. Navy- Naval and Air) for the PGSS (Persistent Ground Surveillance System) project.

The IR Revolution™ 360 was awarded multiple innovation awards over the years: the 2008 Product of the year from Photonics Tech Briefs, the 2010 Innovation Prize from the EuroNaval Committee, the 2011 Kummerman award from the French Academy of Marine and the 2012 GovSec Platinum Award. It is deployed in theater and has successfully been protecting lives and assets in ports, airports, military bases and critical infrastructures for the past 5 years.
