Street Toyota Scion employees will collect canned food for the High Plains Food Bank of Amarillo, Texas starting November 1, 2012. They will be collecting canned goods until December 1, 2012.
“We are constantly seeing what we can do for our community,” Mike Good, Street Toyota Scion General Manager said. “This will be the second year we have the canned food drive and I know we are going to collect more food than last year.”
There will be two barrels located throughout the dealership starting Thursday so employees and guests can donate canned food.
“This is the first big drive we are doing this season, we are also planning to do some things with other charities from the area,” Good said.
