Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 02, 2012
NiUG International, the largest independent, volunteer-run user group in the not-for-profit software industry, today announced that its seventh annual Discovery Conference, held September 12-14 in Philadelphia, PA, was one of the most well-attended and successful events in its history. More than 300 iMIS users and partners participated in 55 educational sessions (including a new demo track), training classes and networking events. The 15th annual iMIS User Group event also attracted 33 sponsors, including ASI and iMIS technology partners, resellers and consultants.
“In 1997, ASI held the very first iMIS user event for our customers,” said Bob Alves, ASI Chairman and CEO. “In 2005, we handed the reins over to the independent NiUG organization and they’ve done a great job of expanding the Discovery Conference to include a full day of in-depth training,” he added. “Each year, we look forward to meeting with our customers to get their valuable feedback, better understand their needs, and show them what we have in development. More than 1,000 organizations have been with iMIS for over 10 years and, for ASI, it’s all about creating “customers for life.” These user conferences help our customers achieve their organizational goals and we’re proud to be a part of them.”
