GEM 80th Anniversary Competition

(PRWEB UK) 2 October 2012

In 2012, GEM Motoring Assist is celebrating its 80th year of campaigning for safer roads and providing breakdown cover for its members.

David Williams MBE, Chief Executive of GEM Motoring Assist explains:

“There have been many motoring changes in our 80 years and we have played our part. From drink driving and motorway speed limits to lighter evenings and driving with pets, we have moved with the times, but our aim is still the same: to keep motorists as safe as possible on the road.”

To mark the occasion, GEM is holding an interactive Facebook competition celebrating GEM’s long heritage. Entrants scroll through the GEM 80th anniversary photo album, filled with fascinating images of classic cars, vintage adverts and safety campaigns, to find the answers to the competition questions.

The first prize is a kindle; 10 runners up will receive a scratch shield and a further 10 third place getters will win a bag of GEM goodies. Entries close October 1.

GEM (http://www.motoringassist.com) offers comprehensive breakdown cover to its customers, and has been named the Which? Recommended Provider for Breakdown Services in 2012.
