We are very excited about getting the chance to hand the keys to a brand new 2013 wheelchair taxi to a company looking to better serve their disabled customers.
Akron, OH (PRWEB) October 01, 2012
At this year’s Taxi, Limousine & Paratransit Association (TLPA) Annual Conference in Las Vegas, MobilityWorks will be rolling out their biggest promotion ever – giving conference attendees the chance to win a 2013 Ford Transit Connect Taxi with a Wheelchair Accessibility package valued at over $35,000.
The MobilityWorks Transit Connect Taxi has recently been approved for use in several major markets including New York City and Philadelphia. It brings an affordable wheelchair accessible taxi option to any company or municipality, and can be customized to meet specific needs.
“Taxi fleets are adding more and more wheelchair-accessible vehicles,” says Denny Summers, Vice President at MobilityWorks Commercial. “We are very excited about getting the chance to hand the keys to a brand new 2013 wheelchair taxi to a company looking to better serve their disabled customers.”
Aside from the Transit Connect giveaway, MobilityWorks Commercial will also be unveiling a brand new bi-fuel CNG powered Dodge Grand Caravan with a rear-entry wheelchair conversion. The bi-fuel upgrade allows the minivan to run on either CNG or regular unleaded gasoline, giving it a fuel range of over 600 miles. This will be the first rear-entry, CNG-powered, wheelchair accessible minivan available in the United States.
