I only hope that what is presented here will be thought about and understood. Beliefs were given to us. Understanding will set us free to become who we really are.

Are the beliefs you hold really yours, or have they simply been passed down since childhood? In his new books “The Puzzle of Life and the Missing Peace” and “The Quest,” Oliver Morgen, a philosophy student and, has found a new way to interpret scripture that makes it more applicable to people’s daily lives today.

“The books react to the questions most everyone has that religion has ‘answered.’ If those questions were ever answered, those answers were taken literally and therefore lost to time. However, taken symbolically, the Bible takes on a new and exciting way to view life and our connection to it,” Morgen says.

“The Puzzle of Life and the Missing Peace: Dialogue with a Master Resolving Religion’s Judgments” and “The Quest – for a Personal Understanding of Life” are companions that expose religious beliefs through the lens of symbols, rather than taking scriptures literally.

According to Morgen, religious leaders have taken scriptures literally for centuries. He analyzes scripture from a symbolic point of view to make them more relevant to current times. He believes that reading the scriptures this way provides the way for the truth to set people free.

Morgen says, “I want no one to accept as we have accepted our beliefs, which were given to us as children. I only hope that what is presented here will be thought about and understood. Beliefs were given to us. Understanding will set us free to become who we really are – spiritual beings in a three-dimensional world.”
