Coeliac UK, the leading charity working for people with coeliac disease has chosen Workbooks.com’s cloud based CRM solution as its new membership management system.

Coeliac UK supports a growing number of members; providing advice and guidance on living with coeliac disease. The Charity also works with the food and drinks industry, healthcare professionals and government bodies to improve the awareness of the condition.

Brendan Harris, IT Director at Coeliac UK commented, “Our existing membership management system - Integra from Iris Software, was no longer meeting our requirements, so we started looking for a new platform which could help us manage our members, but also support the broader activities of the Charity.”

He continued “We wanted more than just a membership database, but a platform that would be integrated with our website and support the income raising aspects of our work. It was also important that the new solution could provide the right management KPIs enabling us to make the right decisions for the Charity.”

Sarah Sleet, Chief Executive of Coeliac UK commented, “We selected Workbooks as a platform to grow. We liked Workbooks not only because of the integrated and intuitive software, but also because we were impressed with the company ethos. We were looking for the right software solution, but also the right implementation partner and we feel that Workbooks provides us with both.”

Workbooks Business Edition will enable staff at Coeliac UK to work more efficiently and effectively, and will give them the technology to support business development and income generation activities. A cloud-based solution, delivered via software-as-a-service, Workbooks will allow for remote access, giving staff more flexibility and supporting improvement to current practices – a key factor for Coeliac UK.
