BuddyTV Guide aims to please all sports fans, and is in the process of further developing the sports aspect of the app.

The revamped MLB postseason schedule is not a light matter. For baseball enthusiasts, it’s an exciting time of year filled with back to back games leading to the World Series. With 43 potential playoff games to be played, users won’t have to worry about how to keep track of them all. BuddyTV is increasing their sports coverage by adding a Major League Baseball schedule to a Quicklist in their free mobile app, BuddyTV Guide. Users will be able to quickly access a list of games airing chronologically, or they can search for a specific team to see when their next game is airing.
With alert capabilities already in place, users will never miss a game again. Once they find the specific game they want to watch, they can set the alert to remind them to watch the game before it comes on. BuddyTV Guide aims to please all sports fans, and is in the process of further developing the sports aspect of the app. For non-sports fans, BuddyTV creates a better way to discover games that would usually not be so easy to find.
“Here at BuddyTV we don’t just watch scripted or reality series, we love sports too,” said Andy Liu, co-founder and CEO of BuddyTV. “We know users will find great value in getting all their MLB schedules with a simple touch. We’re always looking to enhance the features of the app, and sports listings were a no-brainer.”
The main “grid” displayed in the Listings part of the app has a filtering feature at the top where users can decide to show only sports programs. Sporting events or anything related to sports are displayed, while all other channels in the app are then hidden. The same goes for filtering of comedies, science fiction programs, reality shows, and more. BuddyTV has also added an NFL Quicklist, with game schedules and airing times.
BuddyTV Guide indexes all the major cable and pay TV providers’ schedules as well as the major Internet Video providers to create the best personalized TV discovery experience. Watchlist, TV grids, Search, and editorially driven guides help users find shows to watch in less than 20 seconds.
The BuddyTV Guide 2.6 app is available for free on the app store on iTunes. To learn more, visit the BuddyTV Guide website for more details.
