Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 15, 2012
Teen Store Developers, the largest developer of independently owned teen stores in the United States announced back in June, 2012 plans to offer Veteran discounts and a Veteran liaison using Veterans Business Resource Center’s Heroes To Home program. This program helps to transition Veterans into self-employment through their skills learned in the military.
Since implementation several Veterans have taken advantage of the program offered through Teen Store Developers. An interview of one Veteran who opened a teen store is available here.
According to statistics gathered about returning Veterans, it can take 6 months for military personnel to transition into a civilian role. Heroes To Home provides assistance to Veterans and their families exploring business opportunities and building a small business clientele. The program also explores alternative employment opportunities when deployment or changed circumstances make employment at previous jobs impossible.
Teen Store Developers is a turn-key development business providing all of the essential tasks of starting a business including financing (up to 100% financing plus operational costs in many instances), site location, lease negotiation, business training, store build-out, a merchandise chain of suppliers, and ongoing business and promotional support. It is a one-time expense which is often fully financed and there are no franchise fees or ongoing fees of any sort. There is a startup fee of $1,500 ($500 for Veterans) and this is fully refundable if the service is unsatisfactory or if the store is not able to be opened for any reason.
