CONNECT! Online Radio for Selling Professionals will welcome B2B sales expert Mike Faherty for a special guest appearance on October 6 at 9:00 a.m. pacific time (noon eastern time). CONNECT! broadcasts help sales professionals “ignite their selling power in just an hour.”

Mike Faherty is Founder & President of ProSales Connection, LLC a B2B Inside Sales and Marketing firm based in Houston, Texas. He is a married father to two energetic girls and a graduate of The University of Arizona. A talented business leader and dedicated entrepreneur with 16 years of experience leading sales, marketing, operations and customer service organizations at companies like HP and Compaq; Mike is recognized as an authority on B2B cold calling, lead generation and appointment setting for technical and complex solutions. His passion for helping sales organizations penetrate and acquire new customers has fueled ProSales Connection, LLC into one of the fastest growing businesses in its segment.

ProSales Connection, LLC services both emerging companies and large sales organizations with turn-key telemarketing programs that accelerate growth through practical inside sales and marketing strategies coupled with experience and focus on execution. Mike has built his business on the fundamental principle that when businesses keep their highly-skilled sales people in front of more warm, qualified prospects, they will close more business. This increases the return on investment for the marketing teams while increasing the overall revenue for the business

In each broadcast, CONNECT! focuses on a hot topic for sellers. The topic of this week’s program, airing from 9:00-10:00 a.m. pacific time on October 6, is cold calling. Program Host Deb Calvert, president of People First Productivity Solutions, will interview Faherty and bring in listeners’ questions.

Some believe that "cold-calling is dead." Faherty, however, has chosen to make cold calling the focus of his business, and has written many articles on how to improve this skill, including a recent white paper on "The 5 Secrets of a Successful Cold Call." During this broadcast, sales professionals will learn best practices at a master level for cold calling.

Selling professionals are invited to ask Faherty a question by calling in to the show live or by sending a chat message during the online radio program. For those who are unable to tune in for the live broadcast, Calvert will accept questions ahead of time via e-mail at deb(dot)calvert(at)peoplefirstps(dot)com

CONNECT! broadcasts are archived and are available for playback starting one hour after the live show. Recent topics, available for playback in the archive, include Value-Based Selling and Effective Time Allocation for Sales Managers. The CONNECT! radio program is complemented by the Expedition Blog for sellers, as well as research, the CONNECT! newsletter, white papers and other tools offered by People First Productivity Solutions.
