Diet Doc Announces free Women’s Weight Loss Consultations through the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Weight loss experts at Diet Doc have recognized the connection between weight gain and obesity with breast cancer and are offering complimentary weight loss consultations for all women in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The annual campaign to bring awareness to breast cancer is underway and the weight loss experts at Diet Doc are excited to announce their support for the cause by offering free women’s weight loss consultations through the month of October. Founder and CEO for Diet Doc Julie Wright says “we are well aware of the health conditions that weight gain and obesity brings and want to support women’s health by offering free weight loss consultations for women that can potentially prevent breast cancer and other life-threatening diseases.”
Stated as the second leading cause of cancer death in women, exceeded only by lung cancer, the American Cancer Society’s most current estimates for breast cancer in the United States report that in 2012 about 226,870 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women and that about one in eight (12 percent) women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer during their lifetime. Several reports state the unchangeable risks factors for developing breast cancer, like aging and genetic factors, but one changeable factor that can be prevented is weight. In fact, being overweight or obese drastically increases the risk of several types of cancer, including breast, especially in postmenopausal women.
Diet Doc made their medical team of doctors, nurses, nutritionists and weight loss counselors, who are normally exclusive to past and present patients, available for consultation online or over the phone for new patients for the month of October. A new women’s weight loss program that works to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer has also been created and offered to women. The diet plan combines daily doses of hCG hormone with a diet plan that includes cancer-fighting foods like fiber-rich fruits and vegetables that are known to lower cancer risk by binding to estrogen, produced by excess fat, and eliminating it from the body. Other antioxidant-rich foods are added to the diet plan that are essential in fighting free-radical cell damage that is associated with rapid aging and cancer. Supplements also play a key-role in the diet plan and can vary based on a person’s needs. A free comprehensive health questionnaire is included with the program that makes a symptom-based diagnosis and offers suggestions on vitamins and supplements that are found to support and optimize the body’s ability to function properly.
Diet Doc offers medical-based weight loss solutions that require a prescription for use of their program and products. The free weight loss consultation acts as a guide to determine if the program is a right fit for both parties while bringing awareness to women’s health symptoms that are associated with weight gain and obesity. Wright says, “we are offering free weight loss consultations to all women that is not based on sales but to really bring awareness to the health conditions that are caused by being overweight or obese. We hope that this awareness will encourage women to take charge of their health to reduce the risk of any disease.”
