Leading IT and financial executives form new specialty healthcare advisory firm to assist healthcare companies, including technology, medical device, and services in the preparation for their eventual merger, acquisition, or deployment of growth capital.

Our firm provides the past experience and knowledge not readily available to companies.

Principals Terry Pitts, Mark Thomas, and Michael Davis, experts in healthcare IT mergers, acquisitions, and growth capital consulting, announced today the formation of Mountain Summit Partners, LLC (MSP) and its Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) services. MSP’s services include strategic, financial, and advisory consulting targeted for emerging and established healthcare technology companies who want to pursue a merger acquisition or are seeking growth capital.

MSP was founded as a result of the growing demand for a higher level of business acumen to help companies assess, plan, and execute the needed financial and operational strategies to better position themselves for growth or a successful exit strategy. As a specialty firm, MSP provides customized solutions to the healthcare industry including technology, medical device, and services companies.

All MSP principals are influential leaders in the HIT industry and have extensive experience in technologies, products, and services. “A major difference between Mountain Summit Partners and many investment banks is that our firm is comprised of professionals who for over 30 years have personally built, driven, managed, grown, turned-around, acquired, and sold healthcare companies,” explained MSP executive and principal, Terry Pitts. “Our firm provides the past experience and knowledge not readily available to companies.”

As a new healthcare advisory services firm, MSP has already established over 25 client agreements. Client satisfaction is achieved through the application of the following MSP key principles:

  •     Integrity as a foundation of business operations
  •     Honest and ethical business practices
  •     Extensive buyer/seller relationships across the healthcare industry
  •     Focus on developing long term client relationships
  •     Principals with broad-based healthcare experience
  •     Execution of proven financial analysis and methods to ensure successful transactions

Mountain Summit Partners assist companies in the preparation for their eventual merger, acquisition, or deployment of growth capital. The unique consulting services offered are in the areas of business strategy, marketing, tactical plans to enhance profitability, and future business plan development. MSP's value proposition is providing clients with expert advisory services that assist companies to maximize the value of their business.

MSP principals have the ability to guide a company’s strategic direction while also identifying appropriate investment alternatives. For investment banking, venture capital, or private equity firms looking to grow through acquisition or to add to their portfolio, Mountain Summit Partners carefully looks for companies with proprietary technologies that translate to competitive advantage, and thus, portfolio value.
