Hallmark today announces the winners in its recent card-creation contest, “Celebrate Dads!” Greeting card hopefuls were invited to use photos and original writing to create a Father’s Day card that could be sent to any dad.
Contestants submitted their creations in August. The 12 winning designs will be sold on Hallmark.com beginning Oct. 1. In-store winners will be announced in April 2013 and will be featured in Hallmark Gold Crown® stores in May 2013. Winners each receive $250 and could win an additional $250 if their cards are chosen for in-store sales.

Also this week, Hallmark announces the opening of the latest card competition – “All About Pets.” Consumers are invited to use original photography and original writing to create fun, sweet, or silly cards to say happy birthday, congrats, or thanks to a fellow pet-lover.
