Specialist retailers, 8 Ball have responded to recent news of an unavoidable shortage of pork and bacon.

As renowned bacon lovers, the innovative designers at UK-based firm offer a wide variety of t shirts inspired by the nation’s favourite food

Britain’s National Pig Association claim the main factor behind the world shortage is the rapid decline of the European Union pig herd, as a result of high pig fee costs caused by the global failure of maize and soya harvests. Launching a Save Our Bacon campaign, the NPA is encouraging shoppers to consciously select pork and bacon with the British independent Red Tractor logo in order to protect the nation’s pig farmers. Supermarkets are also being urged to pay pig farmers a fair price in a bid to ease the situation.

As renowned bacon lovers, the innovative designers at UK-based firm offer a wide variety of t shirts inspired by the nation’s favourite food, and so naturally responded to the recent news with interest. A representative from the company shares their thoughts on the matter.

“With bacon being voted the UK’s favourite food, the situation is obviously a concern. However the campaign led by the NPA looks promising. People can also show their support through our range of bacon designs”.

8 Ball currently stock a number of bacon t shirts in a variety of styles and colours for both men and women. The humorous tees are also available in a range of sizes for fast delivery.
