Facebook Challenge to Honor Military Veterans & Active Service Members

One of the nation’s leading moving companies, Atlas Van Lines, today announces the launch of its Facebook challenge to honor military veterans and active service members. Hosted on the Atlas Van Lines Facebook page, the contest will run from Monday, Oct. 1 to Sunday, Nov. 11. One winner will be announced on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 12.

To enter, Facebook fans must post a photo of an active or veteran military service man or woman on Atlas’ Facebook page with a description of why they deserve to win an iPad. Call for photo submissions begin Monday, Oct. 1 and runs through Wednesday, Oct. 31. Following the submission deadline, all photos and descriptions will be entered into an album and fans are invited to vote for their favorite photo and caption. Voting will start on Thursday, Nov. 1. The photo with the most votes by 11:59 p.m. CST, Sunday, Nov. 11, will be awarded one of two prizes: an iPad for the military service man or woman or a $500 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in the name of the military veteran or service member. There is no entry fee associated with this contest.
