Robert B. Shirley, Ph.D., has joined Adisseo North and Central America as a Poultry Technical Manager. The Adisseo Group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of nutritional solutions for animals. It designs, manufactures and markets Rhodimet®, an essential amino acid for monogastric animals; Rovabio®, a multi-enzyme speciality which improves the digestibility of raw materials; and Microvit®, a complete range of vitamins.
Dr. Shirley has extensive knowledge of poultry and animal agriculture, nutrition and molecular biology. This includes more than five years first-hand experience with livestock amino acid nutrition. Dr. Shirley earned a B.S. and M.S. in animal science from the University of Illinois with an emphasis in non-ruminant nutrition. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia with an emphasis in poultry nutrition.
